Lady Fanny Janet Blunt, 1840 - 1926, daughter of Mary Sandison (nee Zohrab), grand-daughter of Constantine Zohrab, was born in Istanbul (Constantinople) and grew up in Brussa and married Sir John Elijah Blunt KCB (British Consul at Salonika & Boston). She wrote the book "My Reminiscences" and was honoured by the Turkish Sultan. She died on Malta.

Lady Blunt, wearing the Order of Chefakat (Order of Virtue), presented to her for services to Turkish women by Sultan Abdul Hamid in 1886.
